Plenty of plug and play LED passing lamps out there. Sunpie, Truck Lite, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the OP is asking if there are any replacement LED bulbs that just plug in to the lens. I am looking for the same thing as I keep blowing the same bulb once or twice a year. I found this on Amazon but not sure if it is what I need or not.

Yes and No! I've looked for decent replacement LED bulbs for forward facing lights and most of them have a fundamental problem IMHO. Most if not all LED bulbs are much larger than the incandescent bulbs we normally use, which means they are unable to provide a focussed beam. In fact they create dazzle. This photo compares a genuine H3 bulb and a supposed LED replacement, which illustrates the problem:

Note where the filament of the H3 is, in comparison to the LEDs. In actual fact this LED bulb won't even fit the light unit (an oval H-D foglamp) which the H3 came out of, as it is too long, so is doubly useless. Even if it fit, the light coming off the various LEDs will be scattered all over the place by the reflector.

I have found some LED bulbs that work well in one of our autos, as they only shine backwards towards the reflector (not forwards or outwards), however they are quite long and won't fit it any of my bike light units.

I have three Trucklite units in my Glide, as I believe a purpose designed unit is the only way an LED is going to work properly at present, especially for lights intended to form a beam.

Slightly brighter than stock would be an Osram night breaker plus or a Narva +50.

The stock bulbs are 35 watts as I recall, which isn't much. If you're having a problem with yours pulling down hard on the electrical system perhaps they are not stock, but something of a much higher wattage. In which case, just reinstalling stock lamps should suffice.
