Default Engine Warm Up

Have a 07 RKC and wanting to know how many of you just start the bike and go or do you allow a warm up time regardless of outside temp. Dealer said let the top 3 fins get warm to the touch some have said 5-10 minutes. I try and go by the top 3 fins warm to the touch. Just trying to find out what really is a good time for warm up or if any is needed.

My runs better if I let it warm up a couple minutes.

If you just hop on & go, like I do, you'll probably only get 150,000 miles out of the drivetrain before overhaul...

Manual says 20-30 seconds, no more than 2-3 minutes

My dealer told me to start it and wait a minute before I go.

I just get on it and ride (guess I'm impatient??) but I do take it easy for the first mile or so.

I start mine, then back it out of the carport. Warm up time consists of the minute it takes to get it out to the driveway and turned around.

i let mine warm up a bit before i go. as with any vehicle you need to let all the oil flow through the engine before take off. look at it one way can you just jump out of bed and start running around? neither can your motor
