Wireless charging phone mount?
#41
I just found this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-M...r=610750344759
It's a phone holder with the wireless charging circuit built into it. That should solve all the troubles. Just leave it plugged in all the time. When you put your phone on it, it charges. Sounds pretty simple to me, and the price is good, too.

IDK what phone you have but most of the top brands and then some you can get a charging case for. I have had them, wife has had the same one for her iPhone since she got the phone when the 6+ first came out. I rarely see her phone on charge and she uses it quite a bit. Seems like a much simpler solution than what y'all have been opting for, at least that I have noticed.

Before QuickCharge came along, .when I'd use Google Maps on my Android phone, the phone would consume more power than a 2.1A charger could provide, resulting in my battery going dead during a trip in spite of being plugged in. QuickCharge solved that problem. I think wireless charging is slow enough that a phone being used for navigation or music would run dry in use.

You may be paying less on your payments per month, but, for me, it's worth the extra $ to be SURE we will have "coverage", no matter WHERE we go. All these other companies in their commercials talk about "reliability" or some OTHER statistic, but they just DON'T have the same "coverage" areas as Verizon, SIGNIFICANTLY less. It's why I'll pay a little more to stay with Verizon, because the "coverage" is well worth that little bit more. We've been at SEVERAL rallies in somewhat remote places where someone with another service; AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, whoever, will come up and ask about how many "bars" I have, since they have NONE, and I've got "full bars". Plus, because of where I work, and where my wife works, we get a pretty good discount (15-30%), so that also helps, and brings the cost back down to probably about what you're paying for Sprint. If you check how much "data" you actually use each month, and you drop your data plan to just over that amount, that can also decrease your bill from an unlimited plan that you really don't need, most of the time. Our plan is at 4GB, and we usually use between 2-3.5GB, and we have rollover, so we typically have between 5-6GB to use each month, so when we DO need to use more than we usually do, we're still covered, and won't pay any overage charges.
