I can only use the fangs here for a couple months before I have to remove them. Right leg cooks above 80*.
Biggest diff is, open and close them as you need.....just like the fairing deflectors. If it gets hot on the right side, crack it open. If hotter...open it more Want max air, open all the way. The fact that you can adjust air flow is the plus. With the fangs, there is no adjustability. I have fangs and will use them for winter ....they absolutely work! But too hot for me in spring/summer.

Got the Baker Built wings today but because of weather and vacation I might not try them out for a while.

Thanks for the reply and for posting this. I was just wondering how much heat I'd get with them closed on the Interstate.

I've only got one eye so I can't have my head bouncing! The older I get the more the buffeting bothers my vision.

Guess I'll have all my questions answered soon enough. Ordered a set! I'll let you know how they work out.

Cool, hope they work for you. I did a massive forum search and couldn't find any information on them. I started this thread just in case others may be searching in the future. I was at the dealership, this weekend, and the Buffalo Soldiers were having a ride......every one of those Goldwings had at least 3 Baker devices on it. Those Goldwing guys must be on to something, I'd imagine

One eye.....yeah we need you to take great care of that one

did they get rid of as much as their site says? I had put the fangs on my Ultra which helped a little, but am now considering these as I have so much buffeting.

I reported some details about my ride a few posts up I think.........all I can do is report as accurately as possible without over-hyping the product because I don't want ppl spending money and then being mad at me! I can't give you a % or how much air they will stop on yours. ON MINE....they stopped all of the air that was causing buffeting with my Shoei Neotec.....that source of air was rushing in over my lowers, up my torso, and shaking my helmet at 70+. Now........as for the fangs..........I think they worked great. But these work better, for me.

LOL ....money well spent for me!! But I have a garage full of HDFORUM endorsed products that are ........well, you know....paperweight!! Come to think of it, guys say the fangs don't increase heat on the right side when you have lowers. Man ......I'm riding and asking myself, "do they have thick lizard skin or something" cuz it feels like I have 2 CATS lol

I wonder about this, too. I'm fortunate to not have any issues like this while riding. I do see others attach all kinds of wind blocking accessories in addition to their lowers and it makes me want to hold a candle lighting service for their rear cylinder head. That rear head must get hotter than Hell with minimal wind moving across it unless I'm missing something.

I missed that post sorry. How ever thanks for replying with how well they worked for you. I know every bike is different just as much as every rider. Well worth the try for me. Now if the weather would cooperate.
