Default 06-13 Tour Pak Latches on older model?

Has anyone put these on an older model? I have a 2003 FLHTC and I'm on my 3rd set in 3 years. Just looking for something better.

Thanks Dawg. Sounds like at least one person made it work. And yeah, talking about the latches. Already have the hinges.

I believe the reason HD claims they won’t work on the older tour pak is due to fiberglass versus ABS plastic and strength issues. The shape and design of the paks are basically the same.

how often do you go in and out of your tour pack to break 3 sets of latches in 3 years?

I ride to work every day that it isn't frozen, so at least twice a day. Bike came with the first broken set so I have only had two break I guess.

Time for an update. I did get the premium latches installed. The lock tumbler hole needs to be enlarged a little and that was it. Pretty easy job with a dremel. These latches are much nicer.
