Default Tour Pack Side Markers

I have a detachable tour pack on my 04 RG. I never take the TP off so for practival purposes it is permantly installed. The side marker lights have never been connected. What's the best way to connect them? Is there a plug somewhere or do I have to cut and splice into the tailight wire. Thanks for your help.

On my 02 RG, I found a connector, but not enough harness to hook it up. I am planned on getting the pieces and making a harness.

Is this the one? The connector with the red, blue and black wires? Thanks for your help.
