Default 10 or 12 inch bars

Looking at changing out my bars I’ve read several posts about the Height of bars but my problem is that I’m only 5’5” and I’m thinking 12 might be to high any help would be great thanks

How tall are the bars on your Dyna? (They look like 12’s) I’d think with those you’d already know what would be too tall for you.

Hold a rod in your hands, like a broomstick or something - as if you were riding the bike, when you find the height you like have someone measure from the handle to your clamp - that is the size you want

You can change risers for a lower cost.

As a rule of thumb, if you're trying to decide between two heights, go with the taller of the two. I was told this when trying to decide between 12 and 14 inch apes. I didn't listen. I went with 12s. Guess what, I now have 14s.

12" is pretty conservative, not much different spec wise from heritage classic bars that were once a popular update. I'm not much taller and sometimes wish I'd gone 14"
