It's a subject without end. How much are you willing to spend?

I just bought the Bitubo from DK Customs and I can't say enough about them, they are great.

Umpteen options and countless threads on the subject! If you ride mostly solo many of the options available will probably be fine, but if you ride 2-up the rules change. Adding a passenger is a test that many shocks are not man enough for, partly because a passenger gets a very different riding experience back there. So your options get reduced, but your budget must increase! Also if you like extended tours with plenty of saddle time, the better quality of shocks you buy the greater will be your riding experience. Good shocks will highlight the mediocre forks, so.....
