Default Installing Harley Center Stand

I am interested in installing the Harley Center Stand on my 2017 Ultra Limited. It says this center stand will not work with bikes that has the 50768-07, which are the adjustable passenger footboard brackets. I have these adjustable passenger footboard brackets adjusted straight up so that they are as tall as they can be. I don't understand why the center stand isn't compatible.

Anybody know or have any experience with both?

Thanks

I used one of these (below link), before I installed a True-Track stabilizer.

I have the ez up stand also. Works fine with the adjustable passenger footboards.

I am normally a big support of HD parts. This is a time I would recommend trying one of the others people have listed. The HD one I purchased is hanging on the wall near the bad idea box. Read the HD information it is marketed as a display stand. Easy to install big pain to use and not every effective.

I have the Harley center stand installed on my Street Glide. I expect Harley is covering all their bases on the install fit. It is possible the stand will come in contact with the footrests while the stand is in the up position. It is also possible that with the footboards you might not be able to actually get your foot on the stand while seated. It appears the stand will settle directly under the passenger footboard. I have a EZ-UP also and I believe the situation will be the same.

The EZ-Up Stand install quickly ... It almost jumps out of the box, runs across the garage floor and installs itself ... Operating the stand is quick and simple and after a couple of tries you'll be proficient ... Don't use the stand if the scooter is facing "downhill" ... Using it really is as simple and easy as the video on their site shows.

Anything else but HD one it's very weak mounting design, I bought one put it on then few days later came off now collecting dust some where in the garage.

I installed the HD center stand on my 2018 Ultra Classic and it works almost as easy as the electric one. There is not much clearance for your foot to go on the extension because of the stock passenger floorboard but just enough to make it work. Popping it up is easier that any other bike I've owned that was half the weight. Great product and highly recommend it.
