Default Legend Suspension Issue

I ride a 2016 Road Glide Ultra. I had Legend Suspension Revo A installed in July of 2016. I went for a ride last week and was shocked to discover the right shock was leaking hydraulic fluid. I have since sent the suspension off for warranty work and am waiting for it to be sent back. I was curious to know if anyone has ever had this problem with Legend Suspension Revo A shocks. Everywhere I look I read nothing but positive reviews about Legend Suspension. I wonder if this was just fluke or if I should be concerned about this being a recurring problem.

I have always heard good things about them as well. It can happen with anything when there is oil and seals. My brothers 2015 Limited had the right side stock Harley shock leak the oil out over the first winter he owned the bike. It was still under warranty, however sitting on the side stand the oil leaked down directly on the rear tire. It actually blistered up the sidewall on the tire. He carried it in and they said they would replace the shock but not the tire. Per the dealer just ride it, it will be fine! He raised hell and called HD and they replaced the tire under warranty also which had less than 2k miles on it.

I am sure they will take good care of you.

Yes, one of my Revo A's is leaking too.
I had them installed at Sturgis last year, only have 4 or 5 thousand miles on them. Last Fall, I noticed a drop of oil on the floor. I'd already moved the bike, never could see where it came from. Put some cardboard underneath the engine and trans, nothing. Then, a few months ago, found it dripping off the left muffler. I'll send them both back this week.

Default Legend Revo leaking

I just installed a set on my 09 streetglide last spring. The left one is leaking. I took them both off, but am being informed to only send the leaking one back. I believe that both should be replaced as a set. Thoughts?

I tend to agree with you... rebuild a set.

I have two bikes with Revo A's om them. They are both FXR's, but not one issue yet. Guess I've been lucky or the excessive weight of the bagger causes this, I have RWD on my bagger.

Had the same issue with my 08 Street Glide. Refurbished them both under warranty. But still a pain to remove them, return them & then reinstall them.

Ok, since we brought it back to life from 2018. Legends are legends. Great products and unbelievable service.

There is an issue, call them. Their before the sale knowledge is amazing.

Things happen, o-rings don’t seat or whatever. How did they do in response?

I noticed one of my REVOs will not rotate freely left to right. Yes, the bolts are torqued to spec and the spacers/washers are assembled correctly. I wonder if this is an issue to raise a concern?
