Default Want to remove rear fender trim light on 2008 Ultra

I would like to remove the lower rear fender trim light on my bike. Under this light, there are 2 mounting holes, and a pressed out tab to secure the wire. What options are there available to cover these up? (Other than install a Steet Glide fender)
What have others done?

One thing I have considered is installing one of these, but in all reality, it isn't much smaller that the stock light.

I would look aftermarket for something with maybe two-sided tape to stick on there. By the way your bike is looking much better, with the cleaned up look.

You could find a good body man and just have him remove the clip, weld the holes and paint.
Probably look better than throwing something over it and easier and cheaper than replacing the fender.

Yes, I’ve definitely thought of that, just hoping to not have to go quite that far. But, I guess if I decide on that route, I could also install the FLHX fender extension/filler panel. I really like that look.
