A dumb question about changing oil in the spring
This really is a dumb question but if a bike sits all winter, should you change out the oil in the spring? I did an oil change last in September and put about 600 miles on it since then. With a couple of exceptions the bike has sat since then in my garage. Its no more than 50 degrees in there all winter as its attached to my house and is semi heated. Was just wondering.

A lot of people here love to waste money. Oil change every 5,000 Miles. Primary and transmission every 10K according to manual. I use to change it every season but now I follow the manual. Cars are like every 3,500? Would you change the oil before that? I don’t see why motorcycles are any different. Some people put more than 5k a year on their bikes, for them changing out all fluids once a year is needed.
