I was talking to a guy at the Harley dealer and while he mostly agrees with the schedule in the book, he changes the primary oil every 2500. Says because the clutch can drop material in there and there are other critical items in there he likes to play it safe. Sounds good to me. What do you think?

Dont change your oil.

Doesnt matter the temperature of your garage.
Its always better to change oil before winter layup rather then wait until spring.

I do all the fluid changes as recommended by Harley. For the engine oil that is about 4 times a year. The tranny and primary 2 times a year. The most my bike has every sat in the winter is 3 weeks.
