Default Saddle bag latch

The latch on the top of the bag came off, the metal piece that actually latches to the inner latch. It appears that it was put on with adhesive, but did not hold long. Anyone else have this problem and what was the solution, any help appreciated thanks.

Those metal tabs are an adhesive-backed item. I replaced all four after repainting the bike....and as I recall, they are 4.99 each. Clean the area well, maybe use a little acetone where the adhesive will hit, and replace the tab. Lock it down and forget about it. All the rest of the latch items screw down.

Thank you. Do you remember if it was dealer item, or did you make them from some other 2 side tape. Once again thanks.
