Dealership Survey- Seriously

RE: Dealership Survey- Seriously
Like relli, I do business at Orlando Harley. No mention was made of the survey at all. They got good marks. I bought the 3 year service plan and everytime I take it in I get a call. The survey co. says the owner has these done.
At my last service my bike wasn't ready on time. Seems the mechanic took it for a test ride and noticed a slight shimmy in the front end. He had to adjust the steerin bearings which I understand is a real chore. I was real impressed with them.

RE: Dealership Survey- Seriously
I bought a new 06 superglide at Hacienda HD in Scotsdale AZ last year. The sales lady said when I got the survey card to come in and she would give me $100 for top marks. She gave me a $100 gift certificate and I bought a leather tool bag and a quart of oil. I go up there about once a month for a free lunch but I would never let them work on my bike.

RE: Dealership Survey- Seriously
I bought my third Harley (06 Ultra) from Sauk Prairie HD, just north of Madison, WI.
This is the greatest dealer. During delivery conversation, I was invited to ride to Sturgis with a Tech and the dealership General Manager. I took them up on the offer and had a great ride.
These are genuine decent people, and treat you like your their best friend.

RE: Dealership Survey- Seriously
My dealer (Destination HD in Tacoma, WA) had told me that they would give me a $50 gift card if I completed the survay and returned it to the store before mailing it to the MoCo. Nothing was mentioned about my giving them all 10's to qualify.
This turned out to be good because I was not happy with the way I was treated during the transaction and was not about to sell out and give them a great score in exchange for $50.00
What I did do however, was to walk into the store and ask to speak with the General Manager..Before I handed her the survey I asked if I could have a few minutes of her time to discuss my experience. (Needless to say she was curious about what happened)
After we talked, she took me to the front counter and had the lady behind the desk produce a $150.00 gift card which she handed to me along with her sincere apologies... class move if you ask me.

RE: Dealership Survey- Seriously
The problem with all surveys is they create an expectation that the responder will benefit fom a frank answer in the long run. I have had real plus and minus experiences at the dealer over the years. Problem in Miami is the same family owns both dealerships so one is about like the other.I do hope one day the MOCO will develop the same loyalty to us that we show the brand. As much as I haveloved my Harleys over the years sometimes I feel like it is worshipping a pagan god.

Wow, I am damned to living in hell for eternity for puting all 10's on the survey? Lighten up! I have had 5 Harleys and never had any work done at a Harley service dept. The Superglide is the first new Harley I ever purchased and I did shop several dealers. I liked my experience at Hacienda, I got the very lowest price there and that is ALL I wanted. Oh well, back to eternal damnation for me!
