Default 2003 Road King CVO - Woods 777??

Does anyone know if I can put Woods 777 in a 2003 CVO Road King? Will the springs handle it?

Stock springs for that year would not handle that lift.

I'm in a crunch. I have a 3000 mile trip on Saturday. Cam Tensioner was toast. So I need to purchase and overnight a cam to get my bike back together. ANY suggestions are greatly appreciated

I’m not going to preach about doing such upgrades right before a long trip, but that’s never a good idea. You would also need to tune it when changing the cams. That said, I’d change out the tensioners for the trip and keep everything else as is. Afterward, you could upgrade the cams, hydraulic conversion, tune, etc. Did the tensioners let loose and do any damage or you just found them bad upon inspection?

1st off. Thanks for responding. tensioners are bad, cam is damaged. Doing all new gaskets top and bottom. They have to have the new cam there by Tuesday end of day to guarantee I make my trip. In a perfect world I would not ride that far after this.. But the world is not perfect.

HD says they can get it tuned and ready to roll.. Just need a good cam choice. Don't want to pay for labor twice as it's already apart

Just go with the SE 255 cams if your bike is carbureted or use SE 254e cams if it's fuel injected, or stock. Actually I think your stock cams are SE 255 cams.

Andrews 26’s would probably serve you the best by far! Crazy power from top to bottom, great fuel mileage, low cost, perfect for your low compression (9:1) and top tier manufacturer.
