I'm not sure if this is the right one for your bike but another option. I put one on my road king and it helped a lot. Doesn't cost much to try. I'd suggest buying a tap to clean the paint out of the threads before installing. Kuryakyn makes one too.

It's a baffle that goes under the triple tree and stops air from coming up between the tank and the fairing.

A Memphis Shades is a Batwing fairing. Just the outer shell so same design.

A windshield with a vent in it will remove the back pressure and should help with the buffeting.

+1 on this solution. I installed this air baffle and it eliminated the helmet buffeting.

I have both and they do work, but do not fix the issue. My problem is I have long hair. No matter what I do to keep it restrained, the flow of air on the bike always brings my hair forward into my eyes. I am thinking the issue has more to do with back pressure as mentioned before. What we need to see is a video of a Batwing in a wind tunnel test.
