Default 97-07 Road King Seat Fit 00 Road Glide?

Can anybody tell me if a 97-07 Road King seat will fit a 2000 FLTR Road Glide? I'm assuming as they're the same frame, the seat will fit, although I could be mistaken. Anybody got any ideas?

Road king seat has the short nose I believe. You may need a filler piece between it and the console.

Thanks fellas. Will the fitments be OK or will I need to make my own?

Yes it bolts on but you'll need a filler piece like roussfam said. https://www.partsgiant.com/p334198-d...UaAovlEALw_wcB

Having gone the other way, it's about 2-3 inches difference, as I recall. It will bolt up, but you'll have a gap.

That piece of kit above is a pretty nice fix. Not bad for a RK either, as there is invariably a gap where you can see the wires.

If you are talking stock seats, why? They suck. If on the other hand you are referring to aftermarket there are variables that the aforementioned gap fill may not be necessary. Perhaps a tweak here and there such a bend one way or the other of the tab and or fore part of the seat.
