Default Harman Kardon Radio Replacement

I'm looking for a radio to replace this awful stock radio on my '06 SG. Anyone know of a replacement that is an upgrade from the HK?

Thanks,

Jim M

So what is wrong with your radio? Mine works just fine. good quality sound and have not had a problem with it.

What do you want the headunit to do? You can go to an auto audio specialty shop and get a headunit with a pop-up 7" LCD display for GPS or watching DVD's (when parked of course), blue tooth enabled, satelite ready, etc. that plays pretty much any music format. But you will loose the CB/Intercom.

just put a sony mex-1gp on my '02 RG, course i was upgrading from a cassette deck......but it's pretty cool to be able to down load music to the face plate. i've got about 8 hours of tunes on there and it's not even half full. biketronics adapter makes everything work with hand controls and j&m speakers let ya hear it all

After upgrading to the latest software, some CD's are unlistenable. Skips through the whole disc. Am waiting to take it in to the dealer. Plus the Hogtunes speakers I installed seem to be magnifying the deficiencies of this radios ability to play music at a high volume without distortion.

I went with the biketronics retro radio package. You won't be disappointed.

What radio did you get to work with the Biketronics retro kit?

Thanks,

Jim
