Thanks so much for the opinions and advice. I was worried about the inexpensive piece I was looking at, ie the Dan Moto. I am still looking around and haven't purchased it yet.

S+S just came out with a nice looking 2-1, bassani has the road rage that looks and sounds great, those are two of the cheaper 2-1's, then you have D+D billet cat, thunder header, vance and hines pro pipe but those get you in the $1200 and up range.

I admit to not looking at what OP was intending to buy before I made my initial comments. Actually, I still haven't looked at it, but now understand it to be a very short piped/mufflered set up. Naw. That ain't gonna work at all. Both the pipes and muffler have to be longer.

I bought this one. Thanks for the input. Soon as it comes in I'll get with Quick Performance and get a dyno tune and a map.Chrome Thunderheader 2 into 1 Exhaust Pipe System Harley Touring + Heat Shields

I switched out my CFR's to a V&H Propipe from Eastern Performance.
Had it in 2 days and the price was unbelievable.

Sounds great but more important the performance is awesome compared to the CFR's.

Oh, yeah, that'll get 'er done...to me, the tone is blatty, but most folks love that tone! So, you'll be in good company with that one, OP, and it's reputed as the system with the best performance potential. Great choice!

I had a Dan Moto in my 2001 Road King a year ago - I was not impressed. There are much better 2:1s.

My all time favorite was the DD Fatcat, absolutely the best fit and finish AND sound from any exhaust I have ever had. And I went through several. Second to the DD Fatcat, I would select the RB Racing Black Hole.

too short, you wont notice a TQ increase IMO.
Save up for a longer 2-1 system thats proven (thunderheader, D&D, supertrapp, etc) or find a used one. They can be had for $300 (I just got one) and youll be much happier.
