Default 8 inch or 10 inch LA Chopper handlebars, can't decide!

Im looking to switch out the stock bars on my 2017 Street Glide. I dont like the stock bars at all. My last bike two bikes had Heritage softail bars and I loved them. To me they're the perfect fit. I think Heritage bars are 8 inch rise. I cant decide if I want to do 8 inch or 10 inch LA Chopper bars on the Street Glide. Anyone have experience with either set up?

I'm in the same debate...i want my hands behind the fairing though. 10" may hang em out in the wind.

I always thought the stock street glide bars were an 8" rise

I had 9" apes on a Road Glide a couple Road Glides ago and would have preferred 10's so just ordered 12's for the new bike.

I have the Twin Peak LA choppers,10", a little more reach to the bars, and wind hits at the top of the hand, i like the wrist angle, and looks, just can't adjust back, tank clearance.

Taller... very few people say they wished they went shorter... I wish I'd gone two inches taller on mine, still might when the next couple mods are done.

I recommend the 12" LA Choppers. No need for extending the brake or clutch cables. And you can still use your stock mirrors...

They probably are, but pullback is what i dislike. I bought a used ‘16 street glide with 16’ish apes (maybe 18....they’re huge) . Looks cool, feels good.....but tired of freezing my hands.
