Default Rear wheel swap out

I have a stock 97 Electra Glide Classic. Have a local guy selling a full wheel set up. He said it's 16x3 with 3/4 inch axle. Basically tires all mounted and ready to bolt on to the bike. Just not sure if this would fit my bike and how I even check to see if it will. Any tips help is greatly appreciated

Woah there! You have a '97, with tapered roller wheel bearings, what year are the 'new' wheels? If they are later ball-race wheels, they will not be a straight swap. It can be done with a bit of effort and more parts (I've done it!), but brake rotors and rear pulley will not swap over, nor will the 'new' rear rotor work with your caliper.
