Anyone ever try this from this vendor...Seems like a pretty good deal.

Honestly. If it's not a OEM product, I'd be very leary. I myself would stay clear. Ask him if these are genuine Harley Davidson parts. If not, I can prettty much garrentee there "made in china" replica's, that he purchased and polished/chromed himself. I do alot on e-bay and I always look for part numbers. Just my 2ct's, Putt

Sounds like a really good deal. TOO GOOD, actually. Find out all you can about the parts. Whether they are hd parts, or after market. Or if they were chrome plated from the original black parts? AND, let me know what he says. I am looking to do the same thing.

If I read it correctly it says they are original HD parts.

Looking at the print, they are polished billet, not chrome. Here's what makes me say that copied from the print.

"Has the deep billet polished finish that will stand the test of time and make you bike look beautiful for years to come."

And also
"polished to a beautiful Chrome finish by Exxtreme Polishing"

Is polished billet bad? I emailed him and asked if he can send some more detailed pics...I also found these for under a couple hundred. One of the sets i believe is 129.00

To be on the safe side I would spend a little more and by the HD ones from a dealer.

Terry,

I bought those same parts off Ebay. Mine came from www.debrix.com My parts are chrome and look great. I did compare them to the stock parts and stock parts are better quality but I have had no issues with these.

Polished billet is polished aluminum for the most part and has a different "color" shine than chrome, more of a silverycolor than chrome.. Quite often the billet has to be kept up with additional polishing to keep it shining like chrome.
The ones on that link look like chrome.

Two years ago I purchased the Custom Chrome set with chrome levers, clutch perch, master cylinder and switch housings (~$120 from Eastern Performance Cycles) then added the HD chrome switch housings when I added cruise control this year. So I have about $240 in the chrome controls and am very pleased with it on my '04 EG. As I recall, the HD chrome switch housings were made in China or Malaysia--I am pretty sure there is a China, TX, but don't about Malaysia being in the U.S.
