"POLISHED TO A CHROME FINISH" - If ya like to polish them - they may stay looking good as they are not chrome! You might be better off to buy (on e-bay) a OEM set and send them out to be chromed???

 

Anyone know of a chromer in NM? I would like to get mine chromed, but have had trouble finding someone local. Everyone ships them out, which equates to more down time. [:@]And with summer here, it may have to wait until winter.

 

Be careful with definitions. Polished to a chrome finish means it's not chrome. It's polished aluminum. It can be as shiny as chrome but you'll have to polish them from time to time. Only benefit of polished over chrome is that scratches can be removed completely by buffing Personally, I'd have the stock controls sanded, polished and chromed and it shouldn't cost more.

 

I have the complete stock (black) set of controls if you are interested for cheap from an 07 RKC with cruise. You could have these chromed. Levers,master cyl,clutch perch and switch covers. No down time at all.
