Thumbs up New Road King--San Jacinto Harley

Just purchased a new 2018 Road King standard black today and received a great deal. Paid $18280.00 before ttl. There wasn't any freight/prep. Their phone number is 2819914275. Sales Rep is Eddie.

They retail for $18,999. Is $719 off retail a great deal? Did you compare to Cowboy H-D in Beaumont? They will usually beat any price.

Really?!! It's a toy. Don't let 3% keep you up at night. Pay what you're happy with, and enjoy the ride .

There wasn't any freight/prep which is $$$ plus the 719.00 off retail. I didn't feel like going to Beaumont due to servicing issues. I wanted to stay local.

there shouldn't be an 'servicing issues'. hd is hd, if you have a warranty issue, any dealer should be able to handle it. conversely, if you are out of warranty, any dealer should be able to do what you are requesting.

or are you saying that your local dealer holds a grudge against you for not buying local? if so, hd corporate might like to know about that.

oh, and btw, congrats on the new ride. it doesn't really matter where you bought it as long as you are happy with the deal. and i don't care what you paid for it, you could say that you got it for $5.00 and someone else is going to come on here and one up you and tell you that they got it for $3.95 and they tossed in a free street 750 as well.

I bought from my local dealer and I couldn't pass up the deal, but I would of "walked" to another dealer if the price wasn't right. It was a "big plus" for me to be able to return for service where I bought the bike.

WTF? You have a problem with saving money? I couldn't care less if it's a toy or not, what's wrong with shopping around for the best deal?
