Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. If you don't have a copy of the owners manual you may be able to download one for free. Go to the H-D USA website and the Owners tab. That should explain the procedure and a whole lot more useful stuff!

It looks like HD used 3 different speedometers on your bike. Maybe if you have the one used in England then you will be able to switch between Kilometers and Miles. Other that that I don't think it is possible. There have been several threads where US bikes had to have speedometers changed to be imported in to Canada. Look at the part finder link for part numbers.

It would seem obvious, with Canada and the USA being joined at the hip, as they are, that all their speedos would be mph/kph. That would also make speedos universal for a much larger portion of the world market. I looked into getting a dual one for my old Glide, but without success. Harley doesn't seem to be consistent with how they deal with such things.

I'll bring back this old thread from 2013

I think it should answer the OP's question. It looks like it's the face of the speedometer that has mph/kph and the other functions are in miles.
