Decisions, Decisions. 15 CVO vs 17Limited

That is one very tough question. There are good points with both. Not really any bad points, just a matter of personal choice.
I would consider resale valve in say three to four years. My guess is the M8 will do better.
The 15 CVO was one of my favorite. But now that I have ridden the M8 and own a 114 it would be very hard for me to consider a 110.
Ride them both and buy what makes you the happiest!

as a cvo owner, i can give you a perspective on this that you might not be considering. if you compare the two bikes side by side, there is very little on the cvo that hasn't been touched, gauges, paint, wheels, even footboard supports. and a lot else. now, if you want to add these items to your non-cvo, it'll bump the cost up considerably. and at the end of the day, they will add nothing to the value of the bike.
now, the downside. if you ever find yourself needing to replace a painted piece. oh, watch out. i got a ding in my front fender. to replace it, $1100. the replacement plastic piece on the fuel tank dash was almost $100 and i had to send them my old one.
it's a hard decision to make. either bike is a huge upgrade from what you already have.

I just finished doing about the same trade. Traded my '14 Limited. I was looking at a leftover '17 Road Glide Ultra in the red/red OR a 2015 Road Glide Ultra CVO with 9000 miles on it. '15 CVO priced at $28,100 and the '17 RGU reduced to about $26,000.
I road each bike at the end of October over a two week spread about 150 miles on each bike. Dealer was awesome to deal with as it was going to be my fourth bike from them in five years.
I knew if I bought the 17 I would be spending a ton more on engine upgrades and chrome, etc., etc.
The CVO needs next to nothing.
Bought the CVO. My wife really liked the upgraded heated seat on the CVO. She also like the additional adjustability of the passenger foot boards. The red/red paint on the CVO to us was stunning.
Engine wise, it was a tough call. That new M8 runs about as good stock as a stage one or even state two 110 CVO.
The CVO already has a big depreciation hit on it. The '17 probably still has a big hit coming on it. The CVO will have more value in a few years on trade.
Tough call. I would take the CVO.
Buy the bike that makes you happy. I love the CVO and my wife is pretty happy too!!

...... i just upgraded from an '05 Road Glide to a '16 SERG and lemme just say that the 110 is a monster compared to our 88's.
..... night & day difference in performance/handling/comfort ... and the Gold/Black color scheme looks great
........ get the CVO

I just traded my 2011 103 TC for a 2017 107 M8. I've got about 5,000 miles on the new bike and truthfully if I were in the market for another bike it would have to be an M8.
I liked the bike I traded-in but after riding the M8 for a while I wouldn't even consider going back to a TC given a choice.
