Default Custom Dynamics Tri Bar issue

Just installed a new Custom Dynamics Tri Bar on my 13 Street Glide. Replaced the light with the new LED, installed the Smart Triple Play between the load equalizer and the tri bar, turned the bike on and nothing. No rear running lights, turn or brake. Reread the directions, checked all my connections and everything is correct. I’ll call CD tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone else has had an issue or has an answer. Thanks.

Did you check the fuses as well?

All fuses are good and I have the input from the left side and the output on the right side of the bike. Going to put things back to stock and see if everything works and go from there. Thanks for the responses!

99.9% percent of the time...if an LED doesn't light up, this is the reason.

Making headway. Reinstalled stock stuff and everything worked, no blown fuses. Straightened some pins and reinstalled LED tri bar and triple play. Now I have left and tri bar running lights. Everything lights up when I pull the brakes. Left turn flashes when I push the right signal and tri bar flashes when I push the left signal. Waiting for Morgan to answer my email and help me out. Nothing is ever easy!

Sounds like something is crossed up. I didn't need the triple play or the load Eq. on my 15 RG. Looking at CD website, it looks like 14 and up doesn't need that stuff. Hopefully you'll get it sorted, I love my tr-bar. The stock one has 4 measly-*** LED's, what a joke.

I thought the smart triple play was also a load equalizer.

No, the triple play is a modulator that offers 10 flash patterns for the taillights and the tri bar. It is only required for 10-13 Street Glides.

Well after numerous emails back and forth with Jason with different trouble shooting procedures, we have narrowed the problem down to the pass through harness. They are sending me out a new one free of charge, no questions asked! Hope this solves the problem. Can’t say enough great things about CD’s customer service.
