Same exact here on a 17' SGS....perfect for my 6'2" frame.

Same except i'm 6'2" and I have JES fangs as well

I have an LRS 10" recurve and it works perfectly for me, 5'10". I look over it and the wind goes right over my head, along with the bugs.

Just got an email from LRS today with a sale going on. 70% off I think?

Look at Clearview Period! The optical clarity is second to none. I put 45,000 miles on their windshield and I just changed it out only because they came out with a windshield that is 5 inches wider and I started riding more at night so I wanted a shield that was not tinted. This windshield I just took off looks as good as new.
I've had two Ultras and I've tossed those stock shields as fast as I could replace them with Clearview.

Thanks Guys. OP here. I'm leaning toward an 8" recurve. Freedom --- 1, LRS --- 2.

I use a Memphis Shades 8 1/2" recurve ghost shield (top 2" clear) and it works great, look over it, and that 2" clear band is optically clear so there is no distortion which is really nice in hilly twisty roads in the woods.

+1 here! I’m on my second shield from them. I have the 6.5 with recurve, it functions as a much higher shield and I agree the clarity is superb.
