Thought i would pass this along to everyone. Wife was complaining about the height of the passenger boards on our '07 UC. Looked at the adjustments available, and had used the two threaded bolt holes available. She is kinda short, and want the boards to go up a bit further that what these two holes provided. I hooked at the $350 adjustable boards from HD and was shocked at the price, plus didn't know if this design would allow her to stand on the boards while she was getting on. Previously i had bought some adjustable elbows from Kuryakyn for another bike, and they would not take the weight of standing on them.


anyway, got to looking a bit closer at the stock mounts. at the very top of the floorboard bracket, above the two threaded holes looked to be a black rivet. got to messing around with it and found that is was just a small plastic plug that covered another threaded hole for raising the boards a bit more. it was just what i needed for the increased height to make her comfortable.

for those who need to raise your boards a bit more, pop the plug out and try it.
