Road Glide Windscreen (2006-2013)
I took out the stock windscreen and put in a Klock Werks Flair. I think it is the 11". Same issue, I can see over it just barely but I feel the wind on my head and my head gets cold. I generally prefer looking over the top. My Road King with the Klock Werks Flare works just right.
There is a 16" "Pro-Tourer" from National Cycle. I suppose you look through it rather than over it.
What works for you on the previous model Road Glide?

you might also consider the HD branded windsplitter.
I have 3 roadglide, ride 20k plus miles per year, all 3 have windsplitters. I believe HD got this one mostly right

I second this. Madstad is the way to go. Works great, better than any of the many shields I tried. The ugly grows on you

Madstad is probably the best, and also Takes the cake for the ugliest azz screen period!
I have been through several screens, stock, (the worst) Klockwerks, (2nd worst) LRS (worked well, but I screwed up and got the "Blacked out" screen) and the best for ME is the WindVest 10" screen.
Combined with lower fairing, "Dog Bowl" and engine guard deflectors, nothing but a clean, NO buffering pocket of nirvana!

The Madstad has got intrigued beyond belief. Yes it's ugly as hell, but when I'm on a long trip I give two ***** about how sexy the bike looks. Around town I put on my street glide style shield, then on long trips I put on a larger one. I have a Freedom shield on the way for long rides, but if it isn't awesome, then I may have to give these dudes a try.

Klock Werks. I had the 8", too much wind for touring, but looked cool. 14" I was looking thru the flip/curve too often distorting my view and it looked tall. 12" is perfect for all riding conditions and looks good. I got it about 3 years ago and now I am not changing the windshield depending on how far I am riding, one shield for all conditions. For me it works great. Good luck.

I see the LRS (Long Ride Shield) is certainly the least expensive. It's less than $100. The Madstad is well over $300.
In the past I have preferred looking over the windscreen, but only with the windblast going over my head. I'm open to looking through the windscreen, if that will help with comfort.
What do you think about looking through the windscreen? Like I say, there's a National Cycle 18"er.
