a 4 ch is way more useful. a aftermarket deck is great but if you get caught in the rain i dunno. there is a mod that can act as afront and rear faderfor your stock setup. ill find out the name of it. its real easy to install. and it will allow you to direct you power to the rear speakers.

ORIGINAL: Bobberino

the speakers are mb quart and the amp is a 240 watt soundstream amp that its in the other bag. Hawg Wired makes a tiny lil 150 watt amp that fits right on top of the deck in the fairing. I decided to go with the amp in the bag becuz of price. It takes some room, but not all. Maybe Ill go with the Hawg Wired 1 of these days. Also, I talked to a local Auto stereo shop and most of the companies are begininng to make smaller amps coming soon.
Are you getting a lot of vibrations from the speakers in the rear bags?

i dont think a little bit of vibration will do any harm. after all its a harley.I would suggest that you use nuts and bolts (instead of the quick release pins) due to the added weight with the amps and speakers.

The speakers facing the wheel cant be good. Turn on a portable electric fan and speak into it or play some music facing into it and listen from the other side. Leslie speaker, comb filtering, chorusing, flanging, doppler effect.....cant be good!
