Interesting thread. I'm looking for something to lift my Ultra, and just spin it 180 degrees so I can drive out of my storage unit, rather than back it down that gravel bank for 8 or 10 feet before I get the rear wheel onto the pavement. Was thinking about J&S, but now I'm not sure.

J&S is a small outfit. If they have the materials to make 10 lifts and they get orders for 20, they are going to be backlogged. My advice is to order one and wait it out.

They are great jacks, top notch quality and will certainly do what you need it to do. Just know that it will take a while and they are tough to get ahold of.

I bought the rolling floor jack from Harbor Freight, I use this in my garage everyday when I park, so that I can turn it around and ride out. It works great. Also works great when I want to detail the bike.

Unfortunately, not having the materials to fulfill orders somehow renders their email and telephones non-functional. That is, obviously, crap.

If they can't fulfill an order in a reasonable timeframe, then they need to clearly, upfront, let their customers know when they expect to ship the item. And they need to respond to emails and phone calls. If not, then they should cheerfully expect their customers to reverse their credit card charges.

I have always been accused of being pretty thick. Maybe I am missing something here. I will not pay over $550.00 for something that I can get for $70.00 at Harbor Freight that accomplishes the same thing. Is it a prestige thing? Is the J&S "jack" a full length bike lift?
I don't get it. Help me understand.
I damn sure ain't going to sitting on my bike while I working on it.

I think the main attraction is that it's "Not A Harbor Freight" jack. Which mine is. And it has worked perfectly lifting my Super Glide and my Road Glide and my Wing with zero issues whatsoever, for well over five years.

Oh, and that's $550 plus shipping, which in my case is $140 UPS Ground for a total of $690.

Nope.
