Default Taking my Uncle Ed on a last ride

My Uncle Ed passed away last week after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was one of my Dad's younger brothers.Last summer when he thought he may get better, he decided to break out his old Honda 500 Shadow and have his buddy fix it up for him to take one last bike ride up the Eastern coast last fall. Sadly, all he got to do was ride around the block before he was back in the hospital for good. So I heard this story from my Grandmother and it made me sad. My Uncle taught me a lot of stuff. How to catch lobsters, blue crab, sharks, the joys of sand worms, photography, SCUBA, music, nature and more. He and Aunt Terri were in some movies, in Red Dawn they were both Russian and Mexican soldiers and got blown up. He was just a cool Uncle. So I thought about this, Terri said she was going to take Ed somewhere they spent a lot of time together. They met in New Mexico and spent a lot of years in theRockies there and in Colorado. So I thought it might be cool to ask My Dad if he thought it would be a good idea if I was to take some of Uncle Ed's ashes on one last motorcycle ride.
I am riding out to Denver with stops in Deadwood/Black Hills area, Wyoming, Devils Tower, Yellowstone, Tetons and riding the Denver area Rockies. We leave Sunday the 24th, and I will get home on or aroundJuly 6th.
I didn't know how to ask Terri, so I asked my Dad and he asked his Mom and Terri. They all thought it was a great idea and Terri is sending me all of Uncle Ed. So I will have a passenger for the way out there and I will spread his ashes at one of the passes I go over.
All I may need is someone to take a picture of me saying "Goodbye" to him when I release him to the mountains he loved.
Thanks Uncle Ed, you were a great Uncle and Brother!

That's about the best sendoff any of us can ever hope for. God speed on your trip, and I'll raise a glass to your Uncle Ed.
