So I saw a video of installing the Thundermax on YouTube, looked pretty straight forward. My question is, do I need to physically remove the HD ECM, or does the TMax just override it?
YES, You physically remove the factory Harley ECM and plug the Thundermax into those connectors. Is straight forward and make sure you follow all the steps when first uploading your tune.
SoCalDyna2015 How do you like the FXR Division bars? Are your hands in the wind much? I was debating between these and the 10" LA Choppers Twin Peaks.
I have the 12” Streetwitch bars. My friend has the 12” twin peaks. My bars are narrower with a more aggressive wrist angle. His are slightly taller. My knuckles are behind the fairing around town but wind definitely still hits the tops of my hands when cruising. Their 10” bars are below the fairing, I would have probably stuck with those looking back.
I’ve compared to an ISO riser and MX bar setup. Mine are about a 1/2” taller than Kraus plate with 10” riser and low bars.
I just did 12" motorwitch bars for my RG with solid bushings...so nice having essentially tbars without having to screw with my gauges like my last bike.

Waiting for my 12” Motorwitch bars to arrive.
How do you like the solid bushings? I’ve been wanting to try them for awhile but still not sure.
What brand solid bushing did you go with?
Finally got +2 front forks with some drop in springs and 14" adjustable racetec gs-3's in the rear. Can go up to 14.75" 15w fork oil and rear brakes. Swapped out to fork boots as well instead of the cow bells.
