Well done - like watching the progress you've made.

Its probably been said already but I can't find it, but what height slingshots do you have on this bike?
Thanks

Hey Man, I added a LED Light bar to my dyna a while back. I used one of these

wiring harnesses. I had to cut the wires and reconnect them under the seat, coming from the battery, but it works flawless and haven't had any problems with it. I drilled a separate hole into the side of the dash right next to the speedo for the on/off switch. I used a gasket to make it water tight. I'm sure you could mount the switch somewhere convenient. I've seen people mount a switch under the seat to make it not so noticeable. I've heard of people wiring lights directly to their high beams. I'm not that knowledgeable to figure out what the hig/low beam wiring was so I did a separate dedicated light switch.

I'm planning on adding fog lights to the RG as well and doing the same wiring harness.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, after I posted this I had thought about the possibility of just relocating one of the switches that the bike would have already used to the inside of one of the glove boxes. The item you listed would be better on the budget, but I will have to see if it is possible when dealing with the canbus system, I am not sure it the lights use the same system or not.

SoCal, how are you liking those rotors? Did you go with Galfer pads too?

I like them, went with galfer sintered pads. Definitely more bite and no more vibration. You need to go with their pads for them to honor the warranty. Still a heavy *** bike being my first bagger coming from dirt bikes, sport bikes, then dynas.

Front end is getting blacked out next. Black lowers with rubber fork boots. Monotube drop ons cause the heavy hitter suspension in not in my budget right now
