Sounds like most people just wrap up the tri bar and zip tie somewhere, as the tribar is part of the circuit and has plugs in/out. I got a chart from someone with the conversions to hardwire, just cut and crimped/heat shrink. I confirmed all colors with a multimeter and it was all correct EXCEPT on my 2015 both turn signals were violet and brown. Multimeter was easy to confirm which was which, just hit the signal. I will post the chart with the hardwire instructions. Either black can connect (except pin 7) since they are grounds. When it says “both blue and black (from pin 7)” there are two blue and black that all go together. The pins all are numbered if you look closely.

Tape and cut it off. I used a Dremel and sanded, easy to get them to match since you can just hold them back to back and the plastic has some natural cutting points.

I opted not to cut my tribar and rather remove the whole unit and replace with filler lights. Also eliminated the bullet style lights with a custom dynamics license plate.
