Performance baggers

@gartec81 so glad to see you started this thread. This is the route I'm taking with my Road Glide Ultra. Love my dyna, always will, but it's time to part with it...UNFORTUNATELY!!! Plan is to have the tour pack removable, piggy back shocks, inverted forks (eventually $$$$ LOL), risers and MX bars, fab28 exhaust, big sucker A/C...for starters. Will post pics eventually.
Nice to see a familiar name over here from the dyna community.

Appreciate the kind words. Look forward to seeing what you do with yours. If you ever see a pic of a performance bagger, post it up to keep the thread going.

I like this new trend, performance & function and some really good looking machines.
I know everyone has their own take on modifications but I could not bring myself to add burden to my ultra classic by bolting on expensive and heavy shiny pieces or doing suspension / stance mods that do nothing to improve performance and handling. This thread is definitely stimulating my interest.

Thank you appreciate the kind words!
I like it a lot. I came from a saddlemen step up on my Dyna to an OEM touring seat with a backrest. OEM Seat was unbearable for my back without the backrest. This seat sits me up a little higher and forward and the lumbar support of the step up feels great. Wife likes the back seat enough that she told me to sell the OEM one.

I've been looking at those FXR Division bars for my Streetglide. Honestly, how do you like them? Are they comfortable on long rides? How about in the twistys?
I have Yaffe Monkeybars right now and I would like something a little narrower. Those look like they would fit the bill nicely.
Thanks!

Is anyone running the FXR division Motorwitch bars?

Ape style but tbar measurments. I know they wouldnt be as solidly mounted as a tbar/riser straight to the trees, but Im thinking I dont want to relocate gauges and cut plastics again if I end up with a brand new RG....
