while im waiting on my shorty 2-1 stainless pipe to get done, i've been playing around with seat ideas. bottom line up front: i want to get something different. everyone has a black bike and i want to change it up a little without crossing that fine line of being tacky.

It's a toss up between The Wall and Lucky Daves. 99.9% of the time im riding solo anyhow.

ideas for the wall were:
-this all grey one i saw and cropped onto my bike to get a gist
-all black but a candy red side stripe and grey stitch
-all black with grey metallic flake and red stitch

Lucky daves: either black or grey with diamond stitch . i actually like their shop bike, the road king they threw their grey seat on.

thoughts?

I get the "different thing" but I've never liked colored seats. The black with grey flake wall isnt bad. That last red and black wall isnt bad but I'd only do that if you have any other red accents which it doesnt look like?
Maybe a different material like suede or something?

I dunno. Your bike so do what you like obviously! But IMO its a weird spot to place something "different" like a grey seat.

toootally get what you’re saying ! And to clear it up, I am going to add a few minor red accents soon.

Grey is a toss up though . In person it may look sweet ... but it could look downright weird

Thank you. Realized after the build the cams could get hit with more compression at only 195/195 CCP. But it's a high mileage touring bike, so I'm not gonna throw a fit over 130+/130+ that runs cool and isn't picky on gas. I'm sure 140hp is in there but a lot of time and money for 5 peak numbers. Already runs great.

Mahagony or brown leather is awesome on black bikes.
