question for those of you that raised they bagger by 1" or 2" (front and rear): apart from the increased ground clearance, have you noticed any improvements or negative impact on the overall handling of the bike? Any reasons why you would advise not to go this route? Many thanks!
-if youre short, it can be tough to hold the bike up loaded down, uneven surfaces, backing it up, etc. I'm +2" front and rear and 5'7" so its pretty tall for me, but growing up with dirt bikes Im used to it. Its just a lot heavier lol.
-Belt tension is a little harder to set due to the swingarm angle, but not a big deal.
-Pipe selection. A lot of full lengths will hit the axle nut - most are easy enough to fix via a big dent in the muffler to clear.
-Also the lean is a lot on the kickstand. Not really an issue, just harder to pick up. They sell kickstand blocks to fix that.
As you can see, a couple minor things but nothing major. Worth it in my opinion.

I've considered the Bungking block but I think the lean looks good. I have also thought about adding a gloss black +1 kickstand to help it out.

did a track day yesterday on my road glide. Honing some skills, learned a bunch and tons of fun! Try it if you can!

Stock front tire was taking everything I threw at it. Stuck just fine.
+2” front and rear with mids, ground clearance still sucks…killing my pegs leaned over as much as possible
124”, +2”, ness mids, ness rotors. Stock calipers aren’t bad at all. Braking is much more important than power Tons of fun!

Damn, raised your rig that much and still chewed your pegs! Not having your saddlebags on your rig, were you able to lean more?
Your tire looks like you were working the curves pretty damn hard! Curious, with your 124" hopped up motor. What was your top end in a controlled
environment?
What a blast. Looks like a fun azz track. How many laps were you able to get in?

The bags were only off in case of a crash. I just figured itd be one less thing to replace. I dont think they wouldve scraped but maybe.
Top speed was only about 100 on the straight section. That first turn comes quick trying to slow the heavy thing down.
The track is great - a ton of elevation changes also which adds to the excitement.
I didnt count laps but I think it was 8 sessions at 20 min each. Probably about 5 laps a session so 40-45 total. Doesnt sound like much but it was plenty, its exhausting! I reset my trip before and it was 100 miles of track riding.

@Puglia10 congrats on the track experience. I need to get off my *** and do one. seems COTA runs them at holidays only which is kinda a PITA but I'll have to make do
Did you need gas or was 1 tank enough? I saw you said 100 miles, just curious if that was enough fuel when running at high speeds and high throttle. COTA is much bigger though so might and has longer straights so might not really be apples to apples comparison. Did you trailer to the track?

1 tank was plenty (actually only used 1/2 tank which I was kind of surprised considering how hard I was pushing it, and the 124" is kind of thirsty. They did offer gas at the track also.
We did trailer there. Felt kind of odd trailering a bagger, but between the gear and it being over 2 hours from home if we had a bike break down, we decided to play it safe. Im glad we did because we had some shade, plenty of room for a cooler full of cold waters, and tools if needed. And it was a LONG day so it was nice to just drive home in the AC truck.
