I jacked my bike up last night with the shocks completely removed, until the swingarm was resting on top of the transmission case. On the right side of the bike, I could just barely get a 14" measurement (vertically) from the shock bolt locations. On the left side, I was able to get about a 14-3/8" measurement. I'm assuming this is because maybe the top of the transmission case is not perfectly flat, or maybe something going on in the pivot blocks?

Anyways, it looks like on my bike (2016 FLHXS Twin Cam) I won't be able to run 14" shocks, I guess I will settle for 13.5" RWD's. I just don't want to risk forcing the fitment of 14" shocks and that one time I catch some air maybe possibly cracking a transmission mount or something.

Added an external breather. Wish the fittings and fasteners were black. But oh well. Came out nice. Had a hard time trying to figure out where to place it. Finally decided on this location. It'll be easy to access when it's time to clean.

Got the SSNF side covers paint matched and installed, liking the look over my carbon wrapped chopped covers. Suspension feels super planted with the Traxxion cartridges up front and 13.5” RWD out back.

Ok F$&KERS. Who was in Sonora with this sweet *** Road Glide. It's got RWD in the rear and inverted Ohlins front which were probably +2, Galfer front brakes and a Fab28. Whoever's bike this is it looks fun AF. I doubt it's from Sonora.
