I bought the P&A CVO style solo seat. Same seat just not leather on top. I had the Saddleman dominator and that was like riding in a brick sat you up and forward. The HD seat in down and back and very comfortable. I'd compare it to my Hammock that I use for week long trips and 2 up. I bought the pillion for the wife and she likes it too. The pillion on the dominator the wife made me pull over after about 50 miles. My 08 I had a Mustang Vintage wide solo with backrest. That was better than the Saddleman but not as good as the Harley solo. But you're going to get 100 different suggestions. None are wrong. Everyone's *** is different.

I've tried several solo seats over the years and hands down the Harley Low Profile Solo Touring Seat is the best. Very comfortable and looks great.

Here is one for sale in the classifieds. Poster wants $450. Have not used it but plenty of others. I stay away from Mustang any more as quality/comfort went downhill. Picked up a Danny Gray Airhawk that I like for my new bike or I would check into this one. I was in the same boat with already having 2 dual seats.

I'm riding with the new style Police Bike Seat. You can pick up the complete kit off line for less then 200 dollars if you shop around. If you get it from HD over 700 dollars. It's all day comfortable. Of course if your vertically challenged it could be a problem it does raise you up and back.

So many choices! Your local dealer may have a 'fit centre' where you can try out the various H-D optional seats, on your own bike.

I am using the stock seat from a 2017 CVO. Love it.
