Default KST v Factory47

Thinking about putting bars on. the KST Double Trouble bars are about $200 less expensive than an equivalent Factory 47, difference being KST is polished stainless vs Factory 47 which is chrome.

I guess the question is this: For those of you who considered both and went with KST, are you happy with your choice?

I had KST Mayhem bars on a bike a few years ago. They were very nice finish, comfortable and affordable. Could not find a fault with them. Factory 47 bars are 1 1/2" diameter while KST are 1 1/4". While the 47 look and are no doubt more beefy, handlebars are not a place I would stress over that.

I've had KST bars on every bike I've owned. IMO there's not a better bar for the money spent available, but I may be a tad biased. Very comfortable and well made handlebar.

They are both great bars with great quality. I just wanted the 1.5in thick bars which put me at the Factory 47. I have seen both and u cant go wrong with either one.

I went with the KST also. great bars, I would not spend more money for chrome.

+1 for the KST's.Again slightly biased as that's what I bought, but I was very impressed with quality for the price. My friend also bought a set of the same-Mayhem Baggers-and was pleased as well.Very nice bars.

I just helped a buddy install some KST's on his bike and found them pretty sorry for my liking. I ran my bore scope through them and noticed lots of slag buildup and rough areas, lots of sharp edges where the wires entered/exited the bars. Before he called me to help, he actually pulled the wires through and the exit area around the trees cut his wiring.

I am currently running the Factory 47's and the fit/finish is great. I've also had Road 6 before and found them to be just as good.

I share the same biased opinion...The polished stainless looks great hard to tell a difference from chrome and if you get a nick or scratch it can easily be polished out.

I haven't had that experience with them at all. All of mine have been pretty clean on the inside. One call to Brett @ KST would've cleared that right up.

This was my first experience with them, so I won't base anything off a 1 time deal. If they were my bars though, I'd have been making a phone call to them for sure. But my buddy acts like a fat kid in a candy store and has to have it right then.....
