Default Tiny Spring - What is it?

So after I pulled the engine out of my Road King, I looked down at the lift and I see this tiny spring. It was on the left side of the motorcycle. I have no idea where it came from. Any help?

You sure it came from the bike ?
I think.its to small but I have never disassembled a fuel line disconnect. But I am sure there is a spring inside that keeps the lock secure. Maybe it fell out.. it might not even be from your bike

I’m not positive but I don’t know how else it would have come to be on the lift.

It looks like the spring from the end of the throttle/idle cable ... but that spring can't fall off unless the end of the cable is cut off
