The new Indian baggers without the big front fenders look nice. With all the issues of the M8, it has me looking.

Haven't heard AMF in awhile my first Harley was a 1970 AMF Sportster. That was a cool bike.

Well look hard, Polaris Indians have some consistent issues as well. Paint quality and rust keeps popping their ugly heads now and then. As a counter to the M8 issues, do a search on “clacker” in the Indian forums.

That being said, and accepting for the rust issues, I believe the quality of the Indians is equal to the Harley’s. It’s more a question of the style that appeals to you.

Nice to see that Yamaha has a new bagger for 18'......not that I want one over my HD Ultra Limited but it's good for the industry in general. Having owned a number of cycles and a few were large Yamahas I know they make a compettative machine....but I'm still VERY happy with my 15' Ultra Limited (w/11,000 miles).....and it's paid for!....LOL

You can visit the Indian forums and not have to sign up. Look around on them and you will see they have their problems just like Harley. They even have recalls on them and yes, they even have Chinese parts, just like everything else made in the world.

Remember the old saying "if it has **** or tires, it's gonna give you problems".

Of course Harley riders prefer to say "if it has **** or tires I can make it squeal".

I seen more at Thunder on the beach this year than before. I stopped at the demo trailer and it had long list for test rides And we wanted to drink beer more than ride. Oh well maybe next year.

Just wish there was a bike out there that you could put 80,000 on with out a bunch of engine drama. At least Harley's are easier than most to work on.....
