I purchased an '07 UC with the"custom color" Jake and Elwood Blue Sunglo. I am curious just how "custom" these colors are? There were two other "custom colors" this year and I am curious about production numbers for these bikes, any ideas???

No idea, often wondered the same thing. I don't see a lot of the custom colors on the road though.

I've got that color combo on my '07 RKC.Love it.

 

If it's an unlimited number of sets you may see some here and there. If it's a numbered set the chances of you seeing another one is rare.

 

You can Write or Call MOCO Customer Service - They keep track of all year sales and color combo's

 

My local dealer had 1- UC in the maroon/creme custom color. They also had a Deluxe in that color (still sittin gin the showroom months later) and a J&E blue, other than that they jsut seemed to have the standards out here.

 

I've got the J&E Blue UC also.... I've only seen one other, and it was the other one the dealer had ordered... I love the color, looks great on the bike. They have 4 custom colors per year... 1 each quarter... I'd be interested to know how many they made also.

 

I had to call around several dealerships before I found my J & E Fat Boy!

 

Each dealership gets one of each model with the custom color. I have the Scarlett Red and Charcoal from 06 and I've only seen one other at Myrtle Beach.

 

I heard something like that - but one dealer I checked with did not. I bought the burgundy/creme Ultra last month in St Aug after seeing one in Gainseville. I checked in Jax, and they didn't have one. Ironically, they called me today and said they just got one in. Kind of strange for a color produced only Jan-Mar. Guess that adds to the mystique of how MOCO / dealers operate.
