well my factory heated grips are finally acting up ... have been smokin hot on setting 2 for years but now suddenly just barely warm on all settings... once last week they did feel like they got hot on 2 for few minutes then back to warm.... not sure where to start and help is much appreciated... how does the temp dial end cap come off and should i try ? whats in there ? i swear on a night ride last month in NC it felt like that dial just spun all the way around in either direction but now it is for sure locked between off and 6 like it should be.....but just warm... one guy told me might be water in there...thanks alot all

 

mine lasted 6 years. I couldn't find any info or luck with trying to rebuild them. I did notice the new ones cost double.Bought a new set had to be send back twice under the year warrenty from surdyke online, crossing my fingers now cause they said thats it,"no more replaceing"

these are the nastalgic style, heard the stock type last longer but too late for me.
