Default 08 Road King Classic which has started to act strange

I have an 08 Road King Classic which has started to act strange
When I turn on the ignition my HIGH BEAM indicator lights up and I have no head light high or low beam, at other times my High beam indicator will light will come on at start up and at some point while driving I notice it will go out, not sure if the headlight was on or off.

Does HIGH BEAM indicator come on to indicate a burnt out headlight ?

Does this sound like a short ?

Is there such an item as a HIGH BEAM relay, and should be replaced

THANKS

YOu may want to pop the headlight out and look at the connection. I just had to replace my connector about a month ago. Mine was loose, caused it to over heat... I think the connector was about 10-15.00 from Moco. You may be able to get same connector from a local auto store for cheaper (maybe)

Yeah, this...had this same thing happen on my 2006 FLHX...I believe I took the OE cannon plug apart and squeezed the terminals tighter...

Reroute the yellow wire (power) from your passing lamp switch and splice into your accessory switch wire going to your circuit fuse. This moves the power from your low beam to the accessory wire.

If you are not popping fuses, it could be a loose connection or an open connection.
