2010 RGC stock motor with 30k on it. Noticed since I got it a few months ago there is a click almost light clunk damn near every time I roll on and off the throttle mostly when on it. Any gear and any speed any temp. I have tried Mobil 1 20w50 and redline primary oils in the primary. And 75w90 Royal Purple gear oil and Redline Trans shock proof in the trans. Running the redline in both still. Found no change at all between any oils. Had the primary apart to install the Hayden M6 pile o crap awhile back. Test rode it and the clunk noise I am talking about was almost gone but the chain was pretty tight but in spec with Haydens guidelines however I pulled it out due to a loud clunk bang from the compensator when turning off the bike. Put OEM tensioner back in and the shut off bang went away. I called my local HD tech he said ditch the Redline as they has seen nothing but issues with it and stick with Formula plus in both Primary and Trans. And go from there. I think the oil is unrelated myself......any ideas?

However with your mileage it very well might be the compensator.
