Default Gas gauge

I have a 2013 Street glide and it takes about 5 minutes before the gauge reads what is in the tank. Does/did any one else have that problem or know how to fix? Thanks

Actual gas gauge or computer readout? Computer takes about that long, at least on last couple bikes I have had.

I have a 2013 Ultra and the fuel gauge at times can move all over the place. I've learned to ignore it. They are not know for being accurate. If you can't remember how much gas was in it from you last ride, then switch the display to show miles remaining. That's fairly accurate.

My recommendation, ride it until the low fuel light ( looks like a gas pump ) comes on then find a gas station immediately. Fill it up and then you will know roughly how much fuel you have left in the tank when the light comes on. 6 minus what the fuel pump says you put in. Calculate the mpg and you will know how far you can go when the light comes on.

If the light is not on, then just ride on.
